CONGRATULATIONS RON SHELLY AND COME GET YA SOME! NOW A 5x WORLD CHAMPION! Sired by A GOOD ZIPPO, "Strider" began winning world championships in 2004, with his Championship in 2 y.o Western Pleasure. In 2005, he continued his winning ways and claimed the Amateur 45&O Junior WP title. In 2006, it just kept getting better. He claimed not only the Amateur title, but also the Junior Title. And now, in 2007, he goes out of Junior with a BANG! Claiming the Amateur 45&O Junior WP title. Way to go Ron and Strider!

Welcome to Sheppard Paint Horses!
Sheppard Paint Horses was started in 1969 through the
influence of a very good friend, Jim Apple. We have trained
and shown horses for the public ever since. We always have a
great selection of young pleasure horses on hand.
Over the years we have
turned to raising good quality horses at affordable prices.
Mike supervises the breeding, and Connie specializes in youth and amateur horses.
We have two children, Steve and Kim. Steve is a farrier in Ocala, Florida.
Our daughter Kim is a registered nurse and helps a
great deal at the farm and at shows.
Our senior stallion, A Good Zippo, was a Paint Horse Congress Futurity Champion
in 1998. He also has his superior in western pleasure, which he earned as a three year old.
With limited showing, he also earned his ROM in Trail and has a ROM in Amateur Western Pleasure,
with our daughter, Kim at the reins.
